Starting in November 2025, the Jeep brand will introduce a new limited-edition Jeep Wrangler on the 12th of every month for the next 12 months. That means a whole year of fresh new rides rolling out one after another.

At its core, the 2026 Jeep Wrangler is the same vehicle we all fell in love with. It just happens to be in party mode now. The rugged capability is still there. The open-air freedom is still there. But there is a whole lot more excitement coming your way.

Jeep Wrangler Specs & Performance

This new Jeep SUV does not play around when it comes to power. You have two main incredible engine options to choose from, depending on how much muscle you want under the hood. The 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 engine delivers 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. You can pair it with an eight-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual.

The 3.6-liter V-6 engine pumps out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Note that the special editions we mentioned will also have a beast of an option. The 6.4-liter V-8 engine is back and roars with 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. This powerhouse comes paired with the eight-speed automatic transmission.

Jeep Wrangler Capability

There is a reason the Wrangler earned its status as a legendary Trail Rated Jeep. You get a best-in-class maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds when properly equipped. The available WARN winch offers an 8,000-pound capacity for those tough recovery situations. Four advanced 4x4 systems give you options, too.

Command-Trac and Selec-Trac handle most terrain with ease, and Rock-Trac comes in both part-time and full-time versions for the serious adventurers. No worries about the Wrangler's performance in Oklahoma mud with these systems working for you. The maximum crawl ratios reach up to 100:1, which is best-in-class when properly equipped.
Approach angle hits 47.4 degrees, departure angle reaches 40.4 degrees, and breakover angle sits at 26.7 degrees. All of these are best-in-class numbers. Ground clearance measures 12.9 inches, and water fording capability goes up to 35 inches.

Jeep Wrangler Interior

Your experience with the new Jeep Wrangler will differ a little bit depending on whether you choose the four-door or two-door model. For example, the four-door models offer best-in-class rear-seat headroom and legroom.

One thing that does not change is the attention to detail. The 12-way power seats come with heating functionality to keep you comfortable on cold Oklahoma mornings. The Black and Mantis Green color scheme adds a bold touch to the cabin. Every surface feels intentional and well-crafted.

The 2026 Jeep Wrangler is the most technologically advanced Wrangler ever, offering an available Uconnect 5 NAV system on a crisp 12.3-inch touchscreen. With available Off-Road Pages, you'll have access to more than 200 trail guides to boost off-road confidence. A 4G LTE WiFi hotspot connects up to eight devices within 50 feet, while the 7-inch Digital Cluster Display keeps key vehicle information front and center.
Safety is equally impressive. Available Adaptive Cruise Control makes highway travel easier, and Jeep positions its front radar sensors above the rearview mirror-away from bumper impacts that can damage competitor systems. The available ParkSense Rear Park Assist System simplifies tight maneuvers, while Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path Detection add even more awareness on every drive.

Sport

The Sport already kicks things off strong with the 3.6L V6 engine under the hood. Do not mistake it for lesser because it still comes with the Trail Rated badge. That badge means it passed serious tests for traction, water fording, ground clearance, maneuverability, and articulation.

The 17-inch black steel styled wheels give it a classic, rugged look. Cloth low-back bucket seats provide comfort for your daily adventures.

Sport S

The Sport S is the next step up with a few additional goodies that make life easier. These include power-heated mirrors and an automatic headlamp. Deep-tint sunscreen windows keep the interior cooler and give you more privacy.

The windshield features Corning Gorilla Glass for better durability against road debris. The Sport S also brings advanced brake assist and a premium-wrapped steering wheel that feels great in your hands. Full-speed forward-collision warning plus adds another layer of safety protection.

Willys

This trim level is iconic for its WWII history and meaning. The upgrades start with an injection-molded black rear bumper paired with a black grille for a stealthy look. Rock protection sill rails guard your rocker panels on the trail. You also get all-weather floor mats by Mopar and the auxiliary switches for your accessories.

Daytime running lamp LED accents add a modern touch to the classic style. The XTREME 35-inch tire package becomes available at this level for drivers who want maximum capability.

Rubicon

The Rubicon made a name for itself for being on a different level entirely. Serious off-roaders know this name well. The Rubicon adds a hood with air vents and a beautiful Rubicon hood decal, so everyone knows what you are driving. Air filtering keeps dust and debris out of your engine on dusty trails. You'll also find a 115-volt auxiliary power outlet here.

As for packages, the Technology Group and Steel Bumper Group become available. Finally, upgrade from 3.5 to a 7-inch driver information digital cluster display.

Sahara

The Sahara is the only trim level that comes standard with the 2.0L turbo in-line four engine. It is also the only one to come with standard 18-inch wheels. Those machine-painted gray wheels look sharp.

This trim is only available in the four-door configuration. A body-color grille with platinum silver rings gives it a refined appearance. McKinley-trimmed seats are available as an upgrade, and the Sahara is the only trim level to have this option. Even if you skip that upgrade, you still get heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.

Rubicon X

This trim level is the top of the lineup, and it goes hard. Literally. You get a steel front bumper and a hard top as standard equipment. Luxury features include an integrated off-road camera and a rear window wiper and washer. An automatic-dimming rearview mirror adjusts for headlight glare at night. A universal garage door opener adds everyday convenience.

The interior upgrades include Nappa leather seats with 8-way power adjustability and 4-way lumbar support. The Uconnect system adds navigation with HD Radio and integrated voice command.
