That deep rumble is unmistakable. The crown jewel is the 710-horsepower Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat. This beast holds the title of most powerful gas engine SUV ever made.
The supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 delivers 645 lb-ft of torque. You rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, and the quarter-mile disappears in 11.5 seconds with a top speed of 180 mph. Now here comes the big news for 2026. Every single trim level comes standard with a HEMI V8. From the GT all the way up to the SRT Hellcat Jailbreak, you get that legendary V8 power. No more choosing between budget and performance.
The GT now runs on a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 with 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. That is 65 more horses than last year's V-6. The 0-60 time drops from 7.4 seconds to just 6.2. The Dodge Durango R/T's horsepower jumps by 115 points thanks to the 392 HEMI V-8. You now get 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.

With all this power from the Dodge Durango engine, you can do things that other vehicles in this class simply cannot. The available Tow 'N Go Package gives every model an 8,700-pound best-in-class towing capacity. Even the base GT can haul like a champion with this package. It includes a Class IV Trailer Hitch, Integrated Trailer Brake Control, bigger 20-inch Satin Carbon wheels, and solid Black Brembo Brake Calipers.
Bilstein Active Damping Suspension and an electronically limited-slip rear Axle round out the performance hardware. Four Configurable Drive Modes (Sport, Track, Tow, and Snow) mean you are ready for any road condition.

The GT Plus adds heated first and second row seats plus ventilated Nappa Leather up front. Automatic high-beam headlamps, Adaptive Cruise Control with Forward Collision Warning, a power sunroof, and available second-row Captain's Chairs round out the upgrades.
GT Premium
Advanced safety features take center stage here. You get Advanced Brake Assist, Lane Departure Warning Plus, Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Blind Spot Monitoring.The Harman Kardon system with 19 speakers and 825 watts takes over audio duties.
