Performance

The 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer has four trims, each with a 3.0L Twin-Turbo Inline-6 gas, automatic transmission of 8-speed, and four-wheel drive. Its incredible 510 and 500-pound horsepower allows it to accelerate the 6400-pound Grand Jeep Wagoneer with a command-blasting dual exhaust sound. The Grand Jeep Wagoneer quickly overtakes other slower SUVs when driving, quickly finishing freeway merging. With its sports mode, the engine revs high with an 8-speed automatic transmission when the transmission reduces its gear for a faster throttle response.

Suspension, Ride Quality, Steering, and Towing Capability

Its all-independent air suspension allows the 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer to glide over various road surfaces. Also, its setup contains a function of load leveling, keeping the back end from lowering under loads, and you can also adjust its ride height based on different conditions. Compared to other SUVs in this range, the Grand Jeep Wagoneer can pull about 10,000 pounds, more than its competitors' 8,000 to 8,300 pounds limit.

Many full-size SUV lovers and enthusiasts prioritize luxury and capability beyond fuel efficiency. However, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates the 2024 Grand Wagoneer to return 14 mpg and 20 mpg when driving on the city and highway, respectively.

Though the Jeep Grand Wagoneer has a high seating position, entering in and out is effortless thanks to its quality automatic side steps. The cabin is upscale, having a soft touch wrapped surface and genuine wood trim and metal. The front seats are power operated with standard-sized perforated leather, heated, and ventilated with a massage capability on the seat backs and cushions. On the second-row seats lies a pair of captain's chairs and an optional 40/20/40 split bench. Also placed on the chairs is a power tip and slide function that gives easy access to the spacious 60/40 third-row seat. The boxy design of The Grand Jeep Wagoneer gives it a roomy interior and provides more second and third-row space than most SUVs. The Grand Jeep Wagoneer also has an impressive cargo space, having 94.2 cubic feet available when the second-row chairs are folded and 70.9 cubic feet when the third row is also folded. All these are accessible through a power-assisted and hands-free liftgate. 

Infotainment, Tech, and Connectivity

The Obsidian III Jeep Grand Wagoneer has ventilated second-row buckets, a heater, and a 10.1-inch rear-seat entertainment screen with a built-in Amazon Fire TV. This is an easy way to entertain little passengers while on the road. Between the front row seats lies a wide center console housing the rotary transmission shifter, cupholders, two armrests, and a center bin, which you can also figure as a lockable safe or cooler. Also, the console houses Selec-Terrain drive auxiliary controls for air-suspension ride-height settings.

The Jeep Grand Wagoneer has a fast-processing Android-based Uconnect 5 infotainment system. Also included is a 12-inch high-definition touchscreen display, embedded TomTom navigation alongside predictive search, traffic and travel updates, Android Auto connectivity, wireless Apple CarPlay, natural voice capability, Amazon Alexa compatibility, HD Radio, map updates, over-the-air software, and a six-month SiriusXM trial. A 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot allows eight wireless devices with a standard wireless charger, one 115-volt, 12-volt PowerPoint, and about 11 USB ports. As a bonus, you can pair two phones simultaneously.

The Grand Jeep Wagoneer's cabin can hold any one of the two McIntosh two rich sounding systems: the 19-speaker, 950-watt unit in Obsidian and Series I model and a 23-speaker, 1,375-watt system for the Series III Obsidian and Series III. The high-watt system also offers an excellent blue dial and a dancing needle that channels vintage mid-century McIntosh home receivers.
