Jeep Grand Cherokee Specs

You might be surprised to learn there are nine different trim levels in this year's lineup. While each trim offers its own unique features and luxuries, they share the same impressive performance specs. These make the Grand Cherokee a true champion on and off the road.
Take water fording, for instance. With the ability to wade through up to 24 inches of water, this SUV isn't afraid to get its feet wet. The standard 8.4 inches of ground clearance already puts you well above most obstacles, but you can get up to 10.9 inches off the ground.

Under the hood, you'll find a powerful 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine with a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission. This combination delivers an impressive 293 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Interior

By now, we've established that this isn't just a pretty vehicle to look at - it has the power to take you on adventures. The Grand Cherokee offers an impressive 70.8 cubic feet of cargo space with the second row folded down. Speaking of that second row, its 60/40 split-folding design gives you plenty of flexibility.

We also promised you a luxury vehicle, and the interior shows that it fits the bill here, too. It all starts with the seats - perhaps the most important part of the interior experience. You can choose from various leather options. These aren't just any ordinary seats either. You can get up to 16-way adjustments, memory presets, and even a massage mode for those long drives.
Now, we've established that the Grand Cherokee has a lot of room and excellent seats. If you want more of both, the Grand Cherokee L might be worth considering. This sibling SUV takes everything great about the Grand Cherokee and adds third-row seating thanks to its longer wheelbase. You'll be able to seat up to seven passengers and carry more cargo than ever before.

Considered the most-awarded luxurious vehicle in its class, it has features like a rear-seat monitoring camera, Quad-Zone Automatic Temperature Control, and a power-folding third-row bench seat.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Exterior

The Grand Cherokee commands attention with its bold, refined presence. Plus, when you approach your Grand Cherokee at night, door handle approach lamps illuminate the ground.

You can make your Grand Cherokee truly your own with seven stunning exterior color choices. The customization doesn't stop there. You can choose from 13 different wheel combinations, varying in both size and finish, to create exactly the look you want.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Technology

The dash board in a car.

Jeep has always been at the forefront of automotive technology, and this Grand Cherokee proves it. In fact, it has more available technology features than any other SUV in its class. The heart of this tech-savvy SUV is the Uconnect 5 system, displayed on a large 10.1-inch touchscreen. From here, you control everything from navigation with TomTom to audio and climate settings.

Even front-seat passengers get their own dedicated console to control the main touchscreen or enjoy Amazon Fire TV. Meanwhile, drivers stay informed through a crisp 10.25-inch Digital Cluster Display.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Safety

Safety features are a must-have in modern vehicles, so you'll be pleased to know that the 2025 Grand Cherokee has the most safety features in its class. Some are designed to make your life easier, like the Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist System. Others, like Drowsy Driver Detection, could potentially save lives.

Jeep also stands alone as the only automaker offering a night vision camera system to see up to 328 feet ahead of darkness.
2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trim Levels

Laredo A

The first couple of trims share the Laredo name because they build upon each other with key feature differences. The Laredo A starts things off strong, outfitted with cloth seats and Light Tungsten accent stitching for a sophisticated look.

Inside, you'll find an 8.4-inch touchscreen display paired with a six-speaker sound system. The Uconnect 5 system comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The exterior catches the eye with LED headlights and Gloss Black roof rails.

Rolling on 17-inch Fine Silver wheels, this trim level makes a strong first impression. Drivers will appreciate thoughtful touches like the Techno-leather-wrapped steering wheel and an 8-way power seat.

Laredo

While the Laredo A comes as a set-in-stone package, the Laredo opens up your customization options. You can enhance your driving experience with several available packages. The Finishing Package by Mopar adds exterior styling elements. The Altitude package brings a sporty aesthetic. Luxury Tech Group I adds comfort features like a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, a remote start system, and a power liftgate.

Laredo X

Take everything you love about the Laredo and add a power sunroof – that's the Laredo X in a nutshell. This sunroof isn't just any ordinary opening on the roof. It brings the outside in, creating an airy, open feeling that transforms your driving experience. The wheels get an upgrade, too, moving up to 18-inch Fine Silver fully painted aluminum wheels.

Altitude

Remember the Altitude package we mentioned earlier? This trim level takes those sporty styling cues and makes them standard. The 18-inch Gloss Black-painted aluminum wheels and matching gloss black exterior accents create a bold, sinister look.

Inside, you'll find convenient additions like a wireless charger and a 115-volt auxiliary power outlet. The seats get a serious upgrade to Capri leatherette and perforated suede, complete with heating in the front row. The heated steering wheel adds extra comfort on chilly mornings.

Altitude X

If you remember what the X added to the Laredo, you can probably guess what comes next. The Altitude X takes everything great about the Altitude trim and adds that fantastic power sunroof to the mix.

Limited

The Limited trim steps things up with 18-inch aluminum wheels featuring high-gloss Black pockets. The exterior lighting is enhanced by high-beam headlamp control and LED fog lamps.

Inside, Capri leatherette comes in your choice of Black or Wicker Beige. Both front passengers enjoy 8-way power adjustability, and the driver gets the convenience of memory settings. This is also where you'll find sophisticated ambient LED lighting. But perhaps the biggest upgrade is the massive 10.1-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5 NAV. When you reach your destination, you'll enjoy the universal garage door opener.

Overland

The Overland is an off-roading machine built tough with 20-inch machined-face aluminum wheels and chrome tow hooks. Bright dual-exhaust tips complete the premium look. This trim adds the Quadra-Lift Air Suspension System with semi-active damping and heavy-duty engine cooling, making it ready for serious adventure. There is no need for an X version here – a dual-pane panoramic sunroof is standard.

The seats get upgraded to luxurious Nappa leather with ventilation in the front row. Your music sounds better through the Alpine Premium Audio System, featuring nine speakers and a subwoofer.

Summit

Now, we're squarely in luxury territory. First, Platinum Chrome accents appear throughout the vehicle. Inside, you'll find Absolute Oak Wood and Liquid Chrome accents on the instrument panels, steering wheel, and door panels.

Front passengers get massaging seats with 12-way power adjustments, and both front seats include memory settings. The exterior features a black-painted roof for dramatic two-tone styling.

Summit Reserve

You know you've reached the final stop when you see the Summit Reserve badging or the massive 21-inch wheels. Inside this top trim are Palermo leather door trim and seats, complemented by Natural Waxed Walnut wood accents. At last, front passengers finally get their own 10.25-inch interactive touchscreen display.
