Springtime has us dreaming of cool wind in our hair, the smell of dirt, and the rev of off-roading engines. Jeep is here to make that dream a reality. Jeep has been around since the 1940s - the company known for its ground-breaking vehicle during World War II has done it again, manufacturing a truck with all of the climbing fun of Jeep but highway practicality of a truck.  Keep reading to learn why drivers are raving about the 2020 Jeep Gladiator.

What is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator?
The Jeep Gladiator 2020 has traces of its cousin the Wrangler but brings in the practicality of the Cherokee. It is a truck that features a four-door cab and a five-foot bed with off-road equipment, meaty tires, an advanced all-wheel-drive system, and hefty suspension.

Various Models
Jeep knows its customers like options. So, they did not create just a basic truck with the Gladiator. You can find the Gladiator Sport, Sport S, Rubicon, and Overland. Jeep builds on luxury items with each model.

Gladiator Sport
features cloth bucket seats, a full-length floor console, 17-inch black steel-styled wheels, 5-passenger seating, rear 60/40 folding seats, 8 speakers, an Unconnect 3 with 5-inch touch screen display, and a Parkview rear back-up camera.

Gladiator Sport S
everything a sport has with some more pizzazz like a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power front windows with 1-touch down, 17-inch tech silver aluminum wheels, automatic headlamps, LED taillamps, Alpine premium audio system, a security alarm.

Gladiator Overland
everything the Sport S has plus Overland cloth bucket seats, leather-trimmed bucket seats upon request, leather shift know and park brake handle upon request, ambient LED interior lighting, 18-inch granite crystal aluminum wheels, a Uconnect 4 with a 7-inch touchscreen display, Appl CarPlay and Android Auto, and dual remote USB ports for charging.

Gladiator Rubicon
everything the Overland features plus Rubicon cloth bucket seats, 17-inch granite crystal aluminum wheels, automatic crash notification service, blind-spot, and cross-path detection, ParkSense rear park-assist system. Each model increases in luxury and convenience while retaining the beefiness that every off-road enthusiast loves.

Under the Hood
Each 2020 Gladiator has a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that can produce up to 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The 2020 Jeep Gladiator comes with a standard six-speed manual transmission, but buyers have the option of an eight-speed automatic transmission. Testers have discovered the new 2020 Jeep Gladiator  can go from zero to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds.

Power
If you choose the Max Towing package, you will be able to pull up to 7,650 pounds and carry 1,600 in the cargo bed. That makes this a pickup that compares well with rivals Canyon and Colorado.

Sturdy Frame
The Gladiator outstretches its cousin the Wrangler by 31 inches. The wheelbase has more room as well with an extra 19.4i inches from the front to the rear wheels.  As a result, the Gladiator is a much better choice for passengers. Your visitors will have more legroom. Plus, the Gladiator will handle better than the Wrangler when you are carrying cargo.

Off Road
Jeep created the inside of the Gladiator with the off-road enthusiast in mind. Details like a waterproof push-button start and heated steering wheel and front seats combine luxury with practicality. The longer wheelbase creates a roomier cab with more legroom in the back seat than the Wrangler has. The Gladiator also features panels in the body and roof that you can take out, making a closed cab into an open-air cab.

Jeep has created a legitimate pickup and off-road vehicle in the Gladiator. The off-road equipment includes an ample skid plate and an axle ratio that allows it to climb rocks easily. It can also handle up to 30 inches of water. So, you have the option of driving the Jeep to work via the highway during the week and then tackling the trails with your friends on the weekend. The suspension system allows for generous ground clearance and the type of angles that off-roaders love. You can conquer trails, rocks, mud, and creeks with your Gladiator.

Highway Life
The Jeep Gladiator 2020 has the same fuel mileage you'd expect in a truck. Mileage ranges from 17 miles per hour in town and 22 miles per gallon on the highway. Some might even argue the Gladiator gets better mileage than its competitor trucks.

In the Cab
Jeep made a great vehicle by giving owners both convertible soft and hardtops with an outstanding infotainment system. Jeep appears to have used the Wrangler as a model for the dashboard of the Gladiator. The Gladiator has a similar upright dashboard with user-friendly controls. Each 2020 Jeep Gladiator for sale has a touchscreen. The larger 7.0 and 8.4-inch displays have both the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto system in them. You also have the option of upgrading the stereo system with a subwoofer or portable wireless speaker in the backseat.

Jeep included a handful of power ports in the front seat with two USBs and a USB_C port. You can also opt to have a 115-volt outlet in the vehicle. You can haul what you need in the five-foot cargo bed, but Jeep also included some smart interior storage pockets in the Gladiator. There are several smaller spots where you can stow a smartphone. You can also find a smaller compartment hidden under the back seat. If you want to get rid of the backseat, you can stow them a few different ways and lock them in before you begin your off-roading adventure.

Staying Safe
The jeep has typical anti-lock brakes that will adjust the brake pressure when the system senses a tire has stopped moving as you brake hard. Anti-lock brakes make turning easier as you brake. The Gladiator also has stability control where the vehicle can sense if you're on unstable surfaces and thus reduces the engine's power or engages the brakes. This feature allows a driver to stay in control of a vehicle.
Jeep also included both front and side-impact airbags to keep the driver and passengers safe from all angles. You can keep your Gladiator safe from car thieves as well thanks to an ignition-disable feature that keeps the engine from starting when someone tries to use a key other than what the manufacturer produced.
